Demi Lovato To Star In NBC Comedy About Friends With Food Issues
The singer has been open in the past about having difficulties with and recovering from bulimia. She sought treatment method for her eating disorder throughout a 2010 rehab and has spoken publicly about her subsequent relapses. In March 2020, she spoke to Ellen Degeneres about a time period in which she felt like her existence and her food items have been managed by her staff.
“My lifetime, I just felt, was so—and I loathe to use this word—but I felt like it was managed by so many persons all-around me,” she mentioned. “If I was in my hotel home at night time, they would consider the phone out of the hotel room so I could not get in touch with room service. Or, if there was fruit in my hotel space, they would choose it out because which is additional sugar. We are not chatting about, like, brownies, and cookies, and candies and things. It was fruit.”
Lovato has since employed Scooter Braun as her supervisor. He also serves as an executive producer on Hungry.
