Jon Hamm Reveals He Auditioned for This Role on The O.C.
Though Jon Hamm is best recognized for portraying Don Draper on Mad Guys, he revealed this 7 days that he auditioned to enjoy a further iconic Tv set father 4 many years prior to landing his breakout role.
Imagine it or not, Hamm virtually starred in The O.C. as none other than Sandy Cohen. The component ultimately went to Peter Gallagher, of training course, and we are unable to visualize it any other way.
Talking on Rolling Stone‘s Far too Prolonged, Did not Watch podcast on Jan. 12, Hamm explained he auditioned to be on The O.C. when he was all around 31 or 32 decades outdated. “I consider it was me and Harry Hamlin,” Hamm, now 49, recalled of the audition knowledge.
The Golden Globe winner shared, “I try to remember walking in and remaining like, ‘Is that Peter Gallagher? Why am I listed here?’ I really like Peter Gallagher, but I was just like, ‘Dang!'”
Gallagher went on to enjoy Sandy, the father to Seth, Ryan and Sophie Rose, on the series, which ran from 2003 to 2007.
