RHOD’s Tiffany Moon Sounds Off on Brandi Redmond’s Racist Video
Turning controversy into a “teachable minute.”
The Serious Housewives of Dallas‘ Dr. Tiffany Moon is sounding off on co-star Brandi Redmond‘s earlier offensive movie, which confirmed the fact star impersonating an “Asian” female mainly because she has “squinty” eyes. The 2017 video resurfaced on social media in January 2019 immediately after time 4 of RHOD, prompting allegations of insensitivity and racism from followers and resulting in Brandi to test into a wellness center to “mirror and far better herself” in addition to issuing a community apology.
Now, RHOD‘s latest Housewife is revealing how she felt about Brandi’s actions.
“That video came out after the past period experienced concluded,” Tiffany told E! News completely forward of tonight’s year 5 premiere. “It experienced nothing at all to do with me really, but I felt dependable to address Brandi for it mainly because I think when she did it, she did not signify any hurt and she failed to know how her words and steps could be interpreted by many persons these as myself as hurtful or bringing back memories of becoming known as specific names and advised that I have slanty eyes and issues like that. So I wanted to deal with her individually. We did it just she and I simply because I needed her to know even even though at times you really don’t suggest harm with your steps and phrases, that they can be hurtful.”
